NACOGDOCHES, TX — The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce will host its Fourth Friday Luncheon featuring a timely presentation, “The One Big Beautiful Bill and Your Business – What You Need to Know,” led by Polly Etta Sunda of Carr, Riggs & Ingram. (Sunda pictured right)

The recently passed One Big Beautiful Bill Act introduces significant changes to the federal tax code that will affect both individuals and business owners. Some provisions offer new opportunities, while others introduce new limitations—making it critical for businesses to understand how these updates could impact their 2025 tax returns.

During the luncheon, Sunda will be highlighting key provisions that could affect your 2025 tax return, including:

• New income-based deduction caps;
• Permanent bonus depreciation;
• Updated rules on tips, overtime, and R&D.

The event is from 12 noon to 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23, at The Fredonia Hotel & Convention Center.
