Still Time to Participate in Downtown Sip Around!
The Downtown Sip Around contest hosted by Nacogdoches Main Street is still going on through March 15^th, and you’re invited to participate! The Downtown Sip Around is a month-long competition spotlighting specialty drinks crafted by downtown restaurants. From mocktails to cocktails, each stop on the Sip Around will feature a unique beverage for guests to try and rate.

Modeled after the popular Brick Street Burger Battle, this new event invites the community to sip, support local, and vote for their favorites. Check out the Nacogdoches Main Street Facebook page for more information on the participating locations and pictures of the drinks involved!
 
Get Active with Fitness in the Park Events hosted by Nacogdoches Recreation!
The Spring Fitness in the Park series kicks off on Saturday, March 7 with chair exercise and pilates courses at Banita Creek Park! These activities are open to all ages and are free to participate in, just dress to get active and show up! Here is the schedule of events for this month:
Saturday, March 7 – Chair Exercise (9:30 a.m.)   -  Pilates (10:00 a.m)
Saturday, March 14 – Pickleball (9:30 a.m.) – Paddles provided, or bring your own!
Saturday, March 21 – Tai Chi (9:30 a.m.)   -  Zumba (10:00 a.m)
Saturday, March 28 – Yoga – Bring a mat!
 
Teen Break Night hosted by Nacogdoches Recreation on Friday, March 6
 
Nacogdoches Recreation is hosting a Teen Break Night at the C.L Simon Recreation Center on Friday, March 6.  Think nerf battles, glow-in-the-dark activities, and much more in a safe, teen-friendly environment. It’s the perfect way to spend time with friends at the Rec Center.The event is open to children between the ages of 12-17, and tickets are are available on a first come, first serve basis, so head to the Nacogdoches Parks & Recreations Facebook page to secure your tickets today!
