For nearly a decade, the beloved Blueberry Bluegrass Concert in the Park has been the beloved kickoff to Texas Blueberry Festival — a free, family-friendly tradition that draws locals and visitors alike to the heart of Downtown Nacogdoches.
 
The Blueberry Bluegrass Concert returns on Friday, June 12th, the evening before the Texas Blueberry Festival. Under new leadership — but guided by a deep love for everything that made this event special — we're bringing you the same experience you've always looked forward to: great live music, good company, and a free gathering for the whole family in downtown Nacogdoches.
Nacogdoches Recreation Celebrates National Trails Day with Trail Clean Up on June 6
Celebrate National Trails Day by joining us for a Trail Clean Up. Meet us in the Shofner Loop access parking lot off of University Dr. across from Maroney Dr. 10am-12pm. We will provide garbage bags and snacks.
 
There’s Still Time to Sign Up for the 2026 Running of the Blueberries 5K!
 
Attention all runners and lovers of the outdoors! The 2026 Running of the Blueberries 5K will take place early on June 13 ahead of the 2026 Texas Blueberry Festival.
