Supporting SFA Strengthens Our Businesses
NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce is inviting members to participate in three initiatives aimed at strengthening connections with Stephen F. Austin State University students and faculty.
“These initiatives give businesses the opportunity to connect with new audiences and build meaningful relationships with SFA,” said Lexy Carpenter, program and event director for the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber members can contribute items for welcome gift bags distributed to new SFA faculty. Suggested items include promotional materials, coupons, gift cards or branded merchandise. Businesses are asked to provide 60 items and deliver them to The Chamber office by Aug. 7.
Local businesses are invited to participate in the second annual Nac in a Nutshell event Aug. 25. This on-campus expo introduces SFA students to local businesses, organizations and attractions. Participating businesses can engage with students, share information and distribute promotional items. If interested, contact Lexy Carpenter by email or call 936-560-5533.
In addition, the Chamber is partnering with SFA to compile a list of discounts and special offers available to students and faculty. Members are encouraged to submit ongoing promotions to be shared with the university community. Click and submit discount details.
