US 259 widening project begins Nov. 9 Oct. 29, 2026 NACOGDOCHES – Work to widen and improve several miles of US 259 in northern Nacogdoches County is expected to get underway in November. Austin, Texas-based contractor Posillico Civil, Inc., will head up the project. Their crews will begin preparing the right-of-way beginning Monday, Nov. 9.
