Who's that Tree?
Come to the Visitor Center and explore the myriad of trees that dwell at Mission Tejas and what they do for us and the forest! The world of trees is a world of variety just waiting to be discovered! Some grow fast, some grow slow, and others grows in the strangest of places! From feeding Texas wildlife, to providing lumber for early Texas settlers to being a spectacle to enjoy today during the Spring and Fall Colors, trees have been putting in work to keep our forests running and a place where people and imagination inevitably return to. Join park staff at the visitor center and discover how you can read the forest and get to know its silent residents!
