The Pines Presents: Michael Lynche

This Florida native and devoted family man's rise of obscurity was well documented on American Idol. Known to America as "Big Mike," Michael Lynche  was saved by the judges.

"I know a lot of people are excited about seeing one of their favorite 'American Idols' up close and personal on The Pines Stage" said Tara Watson-Watkins, executive director of the Lufkin Convention and Visitors Bureau and artistic director for The Pines Lufkin.

"'Big Mike' is bringing a big 10-piece band with him to back up his powerful, comforting voice. It's going to be an absolutely wonderful show." Lynche has performed across the country as part of the American Idols Live Tour" and has released his debut album, featuring the singles "Who's Gonna Love You More" and "Today."
