The Foreigner played here over twenty years ago when it had just recently closed from a long New York run, winning an award as Best Off Broadway Show of the Season. We are happy to revive this favorite comedy from the past which will star two of the original actors: Ron Hurst and Katherine Whitbeck, who will play the comic romantic leads. Jackie Vose will play Betty, the mistress of the bed and breakfast; Garland Buffalo, plays Froggy, the jovial dynamite expert; Scott Parrish will play the simple Ellerd; Ken Untiedt is cast as the preacher; and Les Balty will play the feared redneck. Set in the Georgia mountains, the play tells the story of a painfully shy recently divorced Englishman who pretends not to speak English. Consequently he learns everyone's secretes and is compelled to rejoin the human race and embark on madcap adventures. A warm-hearted evening of comedy describes the show!
