Texas National / Jerome Witkin

Stephen F. Austin State University School of Art's 20th annual Texas National juried competition and exhibition is scheduled to open Saturday, April 12, in the Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House in downtown Nacogdoches.

This year's juror, American artist Jerome Witkin, will have an exhibition of his acclaimed work opening at the same time. Witkin will be interviewed by art dealer Jack Rutberg at 5 p.m., and the opening reception for both exhibitions is from 6 to 8 p.m., during which time the Texas National winners will be announced.
