Take Back the Night | Sexual Assault Awareness Walk
The Family Crisis Center of East Texas invites the community to Take Back the Night, a powerful walk raising awareness about sexual violence, held in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April! The event calls attention to a reality many college communities face—1 in 5 women experience sexual assault during their time in college. Take Back the Night provides a space to honor survivors, remember those impacted by sexual violence, and unite the community in working toward change.
Students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to gather at 6pm on Wednesday, April 8th in the plaza area outside of the Baker Pattillo Student Center on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University.
Help raise awareness about sexual violence, support survivors, and send a clear message that our community is committed to prevention, accountability, and creating safer campuses and safer communities for everyone!
