Study Group for Citizenship Exam
– The Nacogdoches Public Library is forming a study group for individuals who are on the path to citizenship and would like help studying for the citizenship exam. The Study Group for Citizenship will meet for its inaugural session on Thursday, November 7th at 5:30 pm at the Nacogdoches Public Library.
There are 100 questions that citizenship applicants must be prepared to know for the final part of the naturalization process. Depending on a person’s age, they may be asked anywhere from 10 to 20 of those questions.
At each session library staff and volunteers will quiz participants, using flashcards provided by the Department of U.S.Citizenship & Immigration Services. The study session is for adults 18+ years and does not require registration. Future study session dates will be set at this first meeting.
