Shoebox Altars

Altars (or ofrendas) are made to honor a deceased person on Day of the Dead. We’ll teach you how you can decorate a shoebox so that it’s a pretty altar that you can display at home. You can get tips for decorating a larger altar for display at the Día de los Muertos Fiesta on November 6. Please bring a shoebox.
