The Stephen F. Austin State University College of Fine Arts and School of Music will present a concert of the Trombone Choir at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 20, in Cole Concert Hall in the Wright Music Building on the SFA campus. Among the works to be performed are Anton Bruckner's Adagio from Symphony No. 7 arranged by the principal trombonist of the Chicago Symphony, Jay Friedman. Also on the program is"Marienlieder," Op. 22 by Johannes Brahms, arranged by Ralph Sauer, the retired principal trombonist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Tickets for the concert, which is part of the Cole Performing Arts Series, are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $3 for students and youth.
