SFA Planetarium to screen 'The Planets'
"The Planets," a film produced by the Southeast Planetarium Association, provides an in-depth look at each planet. The 37-minute show is narrated by actress Kate Mulgrew, best known for her role in "Star Trek: Voyager," and is geared toward middle and high school students. The show is enhanced, updated and specifically designed to immerse the audience in current images from NASA missions, including the Hubble Telescope, and bring them along for the exploration as though they are traveling through space. Visit some of the fantastic objects that make up our Solar System - from the blazing hot surface of our star the Sun, to the frozen crusts of tiny comets. The show will run at 7 p.m. each Friday from Jan. 23 to March .
