The artwork submitted for Congressional Art Competition by high school students residing or attending school within U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert's congressional district will be displayed in Griffith Fine Arts Gallery on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. The entries will be exhibited beginning Tuesday, Dec. 3, and will be displayed through Saturday, Dec. 7, when an awards ceremony will be held, and an open house/reception will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The exhibition will close following the reception. Griffith Gallery is located in the Griffith Fine Arts Building, 2222 Alumni Drive, and is open this fall from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday.
