San Augustine 27th Sassafras Festival Celebrating the Tricentennial of Mission Dolores

San Augustine Chamber sponsored 27th Sassafras Festival celebrating the 300 years of history of Mission Dolores.

The recently restored 1919 jail, now a Law Enforcement Museum open for tours and other historical activities. Lots of children's activities, car show, pet and Halloween costumes contests, barbeque contest, and many other events. SAHS Reunion a large event at this festival. All day live entertainment.
