Reception for art exhibition from University of Chihuahua at SFA

An opening reception for an exhibition of artwork of students and faculty from the School of Art of the University of Chihuahua will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in Griffith Gallery in the Griffith Fine Arts Building on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus.

The exhibition is part of an exchange program between SFA and the University of Chihuahua. The exchange started 10 years ago when Piero Fenci, professor of art at SFA, traveled to UACH to teach a ceramics workshop and was instrumental in creating a ceramics program there. Admission is free.
