Public Forum

The City of Nacogdoches is excited to commence a new comprehensive planning process. The initial stages of this process will include developing a new City Comprehensive Plan and Downtown Master Plan. These plans will allow for measured growth throughout the years ahead and help guide our city on much needed improvements while also keeping the small town charm we all love. 
 
The purpose of this public forum is to update you on the upcoming process. Comprehensive planning is a community lead process, and we are eager to kick off that process with you. City staff want the opportunity to explain the purpose for initiating these plans,why we need them and how the project will progress. Community members that attend will be given the opportunity to ask questions regarding these studies. More opportunities will become available at a later date to help City leaders and staff gather specific needs and feedback from the community. A sign-up sheet will be available so that residents can opt-in to receiving future email communications regarding these two important studies.
