Come enjoy a hands-on event at the Durst-Taylor Historic House & Gardens as we spend some time living like pioneers.
Activities will include flower pounding, making wagon train dolls, washboard laundry and even making your own butter! There will also be spinning and blacksmithing demonstrations happening throughout the event. This year’s event will have an old west theme to go along with the One Book, One City program put on by the Nacogdoches Public Library - this year we are celebrating True Grit!
