Friends of Historic Nacogdoches, Inc. (FoHNI) has selected sculptor Joel Turner of Colorado to create a slightly larger than life size sculpture of notable historic African American educator E. J. Campbell in Nacogdoches to join our trail of statues (https://nacstatuetour.weebly.com/).  We are on schedule to dedicate this statue in early Fall 2024!
