Texas Forest Trail is a non-profit group that helps bring tax dollars and travelers to every county in East Texas, and provide communities with the tools, training, and professional support they need to preserve their history and successfully market their tourism sites and attractions.
The Texas Forest Trail Region is a network of partners working together to foster regional economic development by promoting heritage tourism and the preservation of cultural and historic resources.
Texas Forest Trail serves the following 35 counties:

The Texas Forest Trail Region is a 35 county area of East Texas and one of 10 designated heritage tourism regions in the State of Texas.The purpose is to foster economic development by preserving and promoting Texas’ unique history and culture.
About Del Polikretis
Del holds a B.A. in Communications/Public Relations from CSUF and a Master in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He brought to the region over a decade of leadership and management experience in private, government and corporate sectors. He has an exceptional record of helping businesses grow through operational profit and loss oversight, social media marketing, fundraising and business development. He is enthusiastic about working with, promoting and fostering regional economic develoment for the region. He was previously the managing member of ETXLife.com, an East Texas lifestyle blog, guide and market. Del is pictured with Charlie Doches, the official ambassader of Nacogdoches, Texas.
