The Nacogdoches County Historical Foundation, in partnership with Nacogdoches Historic Sites, is hosting the eighth annual Nacogdoches Beefsteak Dinner on Friday, January 24th at Mast Hall. This event is reminiscent of beefsteak dinners of the early 1900’s, when friends of politicians would throw dinners full of meat, beer, and bread, in an effort to raise money for their friends' campaigns. The dinners were rowdy and unsophisticated with no plates, cutlery, or napkins. The Nacogdoches Beefsteak Dinner is a fun event that directly benefits the continued care of the Historic Zion Hill Baptist Church. Tickets are $50 each or $400 for a table of 8 and can be purchased at the Nacogdoches CVB, C.L. Simon Recreation Center, from a member of the Nacogdoches County Historical Foundation, or online at eventbrite.com. We would love for you to attend. See you there!
