Public Library to Host Minecraft Server
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library will begin hosting a Minecraft server for all ages 8 to 17 beginning on Saturday, September 6th at 3:00 p.m. Minecraft is a sandbox environment in which gamers can build, explore, collaborate and compete against each other.
“Minecraft is the latest craze, and it appeals to all ages and skill levels,” says Crystal Hicks, assistant library director. “Players can investigate a massive world on their own or work with others. The only limit is their imagination.”
The library’s server will have rules of comportment and guidelines for interaction, but the game space will be whatever the players make of it. Those who do not have a game license of their own will be able to use one provided by the library. Please call 559-2970 to make sure to get a spot.
For more information on how to sign up for a library card, visit the library in person or online at http://www.ci.nacogdoches.tx.us/library
