The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites the SFA and Nacogdoches communities to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, in the Twilight Ballroom of the Baker Pattillo Student Center. There will be poetry, music and art presented. A keynote address by the Rev. Joshua Joseph will conclude the celebration. All proceeds from the event will go to charity and will benefit NOROC, a non-profit organization that supports orphaned children in Romania and Love in the Name of Christ (Love INC), a non-profit organization that helps Christian churches come together to help people in need.
Admission: $5 for faculty/staff/community members; $3 for students. Dinner will be provided. Dress is business casual. Tickets may be purchased at the BPSC Information Desk or here.
