NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -A popular Nacogdoches attraction is the Loblolly Model Train Exhibit.
It's going on now at the Nacogdoches Railroad Depot on West Main. The display has been a huge success in the past, drawing in over (TWO-HUNDRED) 200 visitors per weekend.
Spectators can get right up to the three-rail, zero-gauge, railroad display.
"These are basically line L electric trains," said George Ellis, a member of the Loblolly Railroad Club. "Basically my collection started back in 1950. This is pretty much the extent of the collection. We bring it here every year. This is our sixth year."
The Depot will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for all to enjoy.
