After more than two decades, live music will return to the Historic Zion Hill Baptist Church. The momentous concert, organized by the Nacogdoches Historic Sites Division with the invaluable help of local citizens specializing in music event planning, will take place Sunday afternoon, March 24th at 4:00pm. The program will feature Steve & Sheryl Hartz with Mr. Jay White performing their show “Tater Bug Tales: Spring Band Music and Stories”. "Tater Bug Tales" is a heartwarming production crafted by Steve Hartz, honoring the cherished traditions of rural life and recounting the colorful stories amassed during his 45-year years operating the General Mercantile and Oldtime String Shop in Downtown Nacogdoches. Featuring a delightful blend of original compositions and timeless classics, Steve and Sheryl Hartz’s music is an enchanting journey designed to transport the listener to simpler times. Tickets, available starting March 1st, are $15 and can be purchased online at eventbrite.com or in person at the Nacogdoches Visitor Center in downtown, or Zion Hill at 324 N. Lanana St. More information about the concert including parking information and details about the program will be available online at nactx.us/historic sites.
