Back by popular demand, the 2017–18 season kicks off with this lighthearted musical comedy by Dan Goggin about a fundraiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God). Jackie Vose, Nita Hudson, Karrie Watts, Katherine Whitbeck and Deborah Dalton will be reprising their roles. The original off-Broadway production opened December 12, 1985 and ran for 3,672 performances, becoming the second-longest-running Off-Broadway show in history. In its review, The New York Times called it "A hail of fun and frolic! Wacky and outrageous, with a hysterical anything-goes sense of fun!"
