Kile G. West VIRTUAL Memorial 5K and 10K Run

To the runners and Supporters of the LT. Kile G. West Memorial 5k/10k Race:

Following SFASU guidance and CDC recommendations SFA Department of Military Science has decided to transition the 2020 Kile G. West Memorial 5K/10K race from an in person race to a Virtual Run. 

The Virtual Run will be from March 30th to April 5th . Participates can walk, run, and jog on the road, track, treadmill, bike or row the 5K or 10K distance.

Simply post a picture of yourself and a picture of your time and distance using a fitness application or GPS watch on our LT Kile G. West Virtual Run Facebook Event Webpage. After you post your results, you will be mailed your race t-shirt and medal. We would LOVE to see you post your results and share your thoughts! 
               
We apologize for any convenience that has caused our runners and supporters.  If you are unable or wish not to participate in this virtual run, SFA Department of Military Science is offering two options:
 
1)            A full refund
2)            Donate your registration fee to the Lieutenant Kile G. West Scholarship Fund.
               
Please let us know which option you prefer.  Again, we apologize for the inconvenience as we work to continue to honor a fallen Soldier.  Safety is our top priority and we look forward to running this event in the future!
