Pack up the family and cast on out to Nacogdoches Parks and Recreation’s 11th annual Kid Fish.
Expect reel fun at Lake Side Park, located at 4800 Pearl St. in Nacogdoches, on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The lake will be stocked full of Rainbow trout, thanks to partners from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
"We will have two age groups, ages 1-8 and ages 9-16 competing for prizes in categories such as, Biggest Trout, Smallest Trout, Biggest Fish (any species caught) and Heaviest Stringer," said Destiny Smith with the City of Nacogdoches Parks and Recreation Dept. "We hope to see you there bundled up staying warm with tackle in hand ready to reel in some good family and community times."
