Hobby Fair for Children

Judy B. McDonald Public Library is hosting its second annual Children's Hobby Fair. The event will take place on Thursday, January 29 at 6:00- 7:00 pm at the library. Individuals representing a variety of hobbies for children will have a table and information for display.
Hobbyists can guide children about what is needed to be involved in each hobby and explain the benefits of its skill. "Children grow socially and educationally by having hobbies because they are learning new skills and growing in relationships as they learn new interests," says Dawn Radnitzer, Children's Librarian.
