Food drive to benefit North Street Church of Christ’s Harvest House
On Wednesday, Dec. 10, Whataburger customers can show their support for the North Street Church of Christ’s Harvest House by visiting the Whataburger restaurant located at 2617 North St. Customers who donate a minimum of two canned goods between 3 and 8 p.m. will receive a free Whataburger.
This food drive follows the Nov. 17 community fundraiser event, where 20 percent of Whataburger proceeds were donated to the food bank.
“Whataburger is happy to do what we can to help support our neighbors who are suffering from hunger, especially during the holiday season,” said Whataburger Franchisee Chris Johnson. “The work Harvest House does in our community is so important and we truly believe in the cause.”
Family-owned Whataburger has proudly served its famous burgers since 1950 and continues to deliver fresh, made-to-order meals every day with extraordinary customer service. In addition to fundraising, Whataburger supports the communities it serves through charitable giving and volunteerism to a number of nonprofit organizations that focus on children’s charities, cancer research, hunger assistance, disaster relief and military support.
