Flute and Piano Recital

The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music presents a faculty recital featuring Dr. Samantha M. Inman, flute, and Tracy Cole, piano, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 411 North Street, Nacogdoches. Admission is free. This dynamic program blends traditional and modern repertoire, with selections inspired by Greek mythology and the four elements—air, water, earth, and fire. Works by J.S. Bach, Claude Debussy, Robert Schumann, Ian Clarke, Amanda Harberg, and Daniel Schnyder showcase the expressive possibilities of the flute/piano duo.
