The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites the community to a workshop on basic fermentation techniques on Saturday, February 25th at 2:30 p.m. Participants will have an introduction to fermented foods for health with Dr. Darla O’Dwyer of SFA and Kim Briggs of Summerland Acres. Learn about how to make things like sauerkraut, kimchi and kefir at home. Plus, a children’s movie will be offered at the same time, so kids can be entertained while parents learn. Please call 559-2970 to register.
The Friends of the Library are on Facebook (as Judy B. McDonald Public Library) and Twitter and Instagram (as @friendsofnacpl).
