Local Produce this time of year includes: green beans, fresh unshelled pinto beans, beets, broccoli, carrots, eggplants, garlic, greens (arugula, bok choi, Chinese cabbage, collards, kale, misuna, mustard, Swiss chard, tatsoi & turnip), kohlrabi, lettuce, frozen peas (purple hull & pinto), purple hull peas (shelled & unshelled), peppers (banana, Bell, jalapeno & poblano), new potatoes, pumpkins, radishes (ice-cycle & red), squash (acorn, buttercup, butternut, patti-pan, yellow & zucchini), sweet potatoes, tomatoes (cherry, green & red), turnips and watermelons.

New vendor, Johanna Taylor will be selling vegetable and herb starter plants. She will have green beans, cabbage, cucumbers, kale, lettuce, pumpkins, spinach, squash, strawberries & tomatoes. She will also have mint, basil, cilantro & sage plants.

1 David Kimling will be selling home-made goat cheese from Henderson, smoked Gouda and other artisan cheeses from Waco, artisan Gouda cheese from Farwell, Tex, artisan blue & cheddar cheeses (jalapeno, sharp cheddar & caraway) from Dublin, Texas and cheeses from the Haystack Goat Cheese Company (including goat cheese, Camembert, chevre, chili Jack, half cow/half goat cheese and red cloud).

Michel Craig will be selling her SPECIAL HOLIDAY PIES. Mini specialty cheesecakes, assorted cookies, fried pies, fried meat pies, buttermilk pies and various other goodies.
Fred Wharton will be back with organic produce. He will have eggplants, poblano peppers, radishes, squash (acorn, buttercup and butternut) and tomatoes (green & red).
Cheryl Ivie-Harper from Maydelle Country will be selling fruit wines. Their wines are made in small batches and bottled one at a time with the attitude of "If it ain't fun, it ain't right." Their wine list consists of Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, Elderberry, Blackberry, Peach, a Pear/Apricot blend (Texas Sunset), pineapple and others that will be rotated by stock. Weda Scholes will be at the market this Saturday. She will be selling foccacia bread, 10 grain fermented honey loaf bread and pumpkin rolls. She won't have more eggs until January.

The Jones family from Texadus Family Farm in Timpson will be selling baked goods, brewed coffee & tea, spice blends, herbal teas, granolas, and LOW SUGAR jellies (blackberry, muscadine and apple). They will have their hand crafted goat's milk soap made from their own goat's milk available (They milk the goats!). Come by and smell them and ask questions. They will also have laundry soap bars and premixed laundry soap powder, lotion bars, chest rub, muscle rub, headache sticks, lip balms, diaper cream, and more. Opal Blume will be selling beeswax, local honey, creamed honey, rosemary and cold water.
Ann Marie Fraser sells Annie Moo Moo's Gourmet Goodies. Over 30 varieties of jams, jellies, no cane sugar added items, pickled items, salts and rubs with samples available. Come on out and say hello.
Nikki Cumby (Grandma's Best) will be selling fried pies in a variety of flavors which include apple, apricot, peach, cherry, pineapple, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, lemon, buttermilk, pecan and sweet potato. What makes her fried pies different from others is in the fruit pies, she also use dried fruit. The size of her pies are much larger than the average pie. She also makes homemade cookies, brownies, sweet breads, pies, cakes and old fashion tea cakes. For special orders call 903-216-7438.
Peggie Hobbs will be selling aprons, hand-made tote bags and sunbonnets, as well as, crocheted scarves and hats to keep you warm. She will also be introducing assorted baby items and kitchen decor items.
George Partain will be returning with eggplants, frozen shelled purple hull peas, squash (patti-pan, yellow & zucchini), sweet potatoes, tomatoes (red & green) and turnips.
Deric Peveto, owner of Wood By Hand LLC, might be at the market with a wide variety of wood products ranging from wine bottle stoppers to turkey calls. He will also be offering seasonal carved signs throughout the year.
Stuart Davis may be at the market with produce.
Appleby Community Farm may be at the market. She sells pastured organic eggs, greens (arugula, Chinese cabbage, swiss chard & kale), herbs and peppers (banana, jalapeno & Trinidad perfume).
