In these uncertain times, there?s one thing that's certain: plants are awesome! We really miss our SFA Gardens plant sale crowd, and the joy and excitement that day brings, but asking 500 of our closest friends to come hang out in one spot may not be a smart move on our part. Yet still, we heavily rely on our plant sales to raise funds for staffing and maintenance, and in light of recent budget cuts, we depend on them now more than ever.
Our solution? Instead of elbowing your way through tons of other enthusiastic plant lovers, you will have the opportunity to shop in a socially distant fashion with only five other people. We will offer reservations for two-hour shopping windows throughout the month of October. In order to maintain gatherings of less than 10 people, only six shoppers will be scheduled at a time.
Reservations can be made on our website. To view the plant list, click here.

In addition to plant sales, we also rely on your support through our annual membership drive.
Membership has its privileges. Our members receive a quarterly newsletter full of horticultural knowledge and discounts on workshops. Members at the $250 supporting level get early access to plant sales. This fall, members at the supporting level and higher will have a full week of early access.
Outdoor spaces remain safe havens during the pandemic, so were are excited to report that we have seen a tremendous rise in visitors to the gardens since March. Students, families and dog walkers are abundant on our trails, and we?re doing our best to keep the gardens in tip top shape for everyone to enjoy.
Please feel welcome on our trails while maintaining a socially safe distance from others.
