SFA's 2016 Earth Day Celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the SFA Gardens Pineywoods Native Plant Center behind the Tucker House and next to the SFA Gardens Spring Plant Sale.
The event will include live music, food and activities related to sustainability for kids and adults of all ages. The celebration is an opportunity for members of the SFA student body and the Nacogdoches community to join together in furthering the vision of a sustainable campus and community.
A guided bike ride will begin at 10:30 a.m. from the Nacogdoches Farmers Market to the celebration.
The Earth Day Celebration is sponsored by Campus Recreation’s Outdoor Pursuits, the SFA Student Sustainability Coalition, SFA Gardens, Nacogdoches Naturally and SFA Health Science.
