Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration

It is time for our annual birthday celebration of Dr. Seuss at the Judy B. McDonald Public Library. We will have games for children, cake, a reading from one of Dr. Seuss? books and Cat in the Hat appearance.

"Dr. Seuss' birthday is celebrated all over the country and we usually have a large crowd come for the celebration. We invite the community to come with your friends and family to the birthday party," said Dawn Radnitzer, Children's Librarian.

The birthday celebration is for the author Theodore Seuss Geisel who wrote and illustrated Cat in the Hat, The Grinch that Stole Christmas and so many others.

The event for Theodore Geisel, who is popularly known as Dr. Seuss, will be Monday, February 24th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. For more information on event, call the library at 936-559-2970.
