Costume Closet Expansion: Aprons

Our costume closet is growing and improving. We would like to invite you to be a part of the process. Whether you have been sewing your whole life or have never threaded a needle, you can join us for a day of sewing and camaraderie.

If you have a portable sewing machine and a sewing box with your "favorite" scissors, bring them along. If not, we will have several machines along with patterns, pins, needles, ironing boards, etc set up for use. We will have several tables with electric plugs available and we will supply the pre-washed fabric.

Aprons are an easy beginner project for those with limited skills. And, if you are an experienced seamstress/tailor, we would love to add some more complex aprons to our collection.

Children who are interested in learning and sewing are welcome. As always, these events are FREE to attend. Donations are not only accepted but VERY much appreciated!
