Book details child bullied for wearing her tutu
Author Pam Randle Keith will be coming to Nacogdoches next weekend to debut her new Children’s book to residents and visitors at downtown store Polka Dotz Boutique on Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a book signing.
Pam was born in Amory, MS. She graduated from Blue Mountain College in north Mississippi.
For years she has written curriculum and magazine articles for LifeWay Christian Resources and other publishers. She also leads conferences for teachers of preschoolers and children. As a member of a Baptist church she is actively involved in ministry to children and their parents. She loves children!
Her husband, Sean, and her two adopted daughters, Leslie and Mei Mei are her greatest joys. Helping her girls deal with struggles was not always easy. But these struggles have given Pam life experiences and insight into what children go through.
Bullying is something many children face. Both of her girls did. Pam says, “I hope this book gives hope for children who are facing a bully and helps those children see that there are solutions.”
Keith’s latest book is about a little girl named Hannah; she loves wearing her tutu and even wears it to play soccer as her good luck charm. A new boy moves into town and starts to bully her and is determined she isn’t going to wear her tutu to play soccer.
