Blessing of the Animals

Beloved annual community-wide gathering celebrating the Feast of St. Francis co-sponsored by the Humane Society of Nacogdoches County and local clergy. All creatures large and small receive blessings after a welcome and brief non-denominational program. Dogs must be on leash; cats in carriers or on leash; birds, etc., in cages.
