The City of Nacogdoches Historic Sites Department will host the 6th annual Blast from the Past: Nacogdoches History Fair on Saturday, October 11th from 9am to 2pm in Festival Park.
Visitors will be able to take part in everything from a rock painting to making their own pottery and from knot tying to flintknapping. Our favorite oxen, Liberty and Justice, will be back this year to do a Gin Pole demonstration. Other activities include string music, Dutch oven cooking, antique toys and more.
Representatives from the East Texas Research Center, Millard's Crossing Historic Village and the Texas Forestry Museum will be at the event doing activities and giving out information about their sites.
Bring your entire family to see Texas history come to life!
