Before there were cell phones the answering service played cupid! Shirley Watterston comes out of retirement to bring this light-hearted hit to town. Debbie Berry and Robert Adamson co-star in a cast of long-time favorite Lamp-Lite comedians (including Jackie Vose and Steven Josephsen). The show opened in the 50's and made Judy Holiday a star along with Jean Stapleton (Edith in All In The Family) and Dean Martin played the romantic male lead. Bob Fosse and Jemome Robbins choreographed the music by Jule Styne, Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The Cinderella-type story features a lonely telephone operator who falls in love with a party loving song writer. Only when she "rings his bell"can he get up in the morning. Songs include The Party's over, Is It a Crime, and Long Before I Knew you. All Seats Reserved.
