SFA Gardens will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7:00 pm on August 14th in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet Street, Nacogdoches. Todd Lasseigne, executive director of Bellingrath Gardens and Home in Theodore, Alabama, will share the history of the Bellingrath estate and plans for the future. Lasseigne is a recognized expert in the field of horticulture, public gardens, nonprofits and public speaking and holds degrees from University of Louisiana, North Carolina State University and University of Georgia. The Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series is held the second Thursday of each month and includes a plant raffle after the program. Attendance is free and open to the public, and donations to the Lecture Series fund are always appreciated.
