2014 International Film Festival to screen 'Father's Chair' this week
SFA's Spanish Film Club will screen the third film in its festival at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in Dugas Liberal Arts North, Room 142. The film is titled 'Father's Chair' and addresses the topics of fatherhood and family.The Portuguese film was produced in 2012 and is directed by Luciano Moura. SFA's Brad Maule will lead a discussion before and after the film.
The Spanish Film Club series was made possible with the support of Pragda, Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Spain, and SPAIN arts & culture, and in part with a grant from Humanities Texas, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the support of Multidisciplinary Programs, Latin American Studies, and Department of Languages, Cultures, and Communication.
