The Speaker Series at the Public Library continues with a presentation from Linda Reynolds of the East Texas Research Center. Ms. Reynolds will deliver a lecture entitled “Preserve and Digitize Your Family Photos” on July 15th, 2013 at 6:00pm in the meeting room at the Judy B. McDonald Public Library.
Ms. Reynolds, a certified archivist, will demonstrate how to digitize a wide variety of materials including photographs, letters, oral histories, clothing and other heirlooms. She has been with the Steen Library at SFASU since 1998 and has been the Director of the East Texas Research Center since 2007. The public is invited to bring in items that they would like to preserve for more information.
The next summer reading prize drawing for teens and adults is Friday, 7/12 at 5:00 pm, so please bring in your punch cards!
