What is National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week®?
National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW) is coming January 22-27, 2019. NDAFW is a national health observance linking teens to science-based facts to SHATTER THE MYTHS® about drugs!
The National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week was launched in 2010 by scientist at the National institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) to stimulate educational events in communities so teens can learn what science has taught us about drug use and addiction. The National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism became a partner in 2016, and alcohol has been added as a topic area for the week.
ADAC and NAC-CAN Coalition are using this opportunity to educate teens in the community, the facts and myths on substance abuse.
With your help NDAFW 2019 will be bigger and better--- so let's top the total number of events held in 2018 (2,321)!
