The final Tween Summer Reading program is the Maker Event on Saturday, August 10th at noon at the Judy B. McDonald Public Library. “Makers” are builders, experimenters, inventors, innovators and crafters. We want to encourage kids who love to take things apart to create something new. We’ll celebrate the Maker mentality with activities that include robotics, animation, and even DIY ice cream. The free program is open to tweens aged 10 to 13, and registration is required. Please call the library at 559-2970 or stop by to register and reserve your place.
