Navigating the waters of teendom is difficult. Give your teen the tools to smooth sailing in their relationships with their peers, teachers, and family by letting them join us for a FREE healthy relationships camp.
Our relationships during our teenage years determine our future relationships. Understanding what healthy relationships are can mean the difference in how teenagers develop relationships for the rest of their lives.
Because understanding what makes a healthy relationship is so important to healthy development, the Nacogdoches Recreation Center and the Family Crisis Center of East Texas have teamed up to hold the first ever H.E.A.R.T. (Healthy Equitable Acceptable Relationships for Teens) Camp.
H.E.A.R.T. Camp will be a three day workshop for teenagers 13 to 18 from 11:30am to 2:30pm on July 29th, 30th and 31st at the Nacogdoches Recreation Center. This workshop is completely free for all teens who would like to participate.
Registration is required for participation. Register online at http://www.familycrisiscenterofeasttexas.com/ or pick up a registration packet at the Nacogdoches Recreation Center located at 1112 North St. in Nacogdoches. Lunch and snacks will be provided for all participants. For more information, please contact Joy Pitts by phone at 936.639.1681 or by email at jpittswset@suddenlinkmail.com.
