This all skill level event is perfect to understand the philosophy behind online content creation. Social media is a small part of a larger content creation plan that can be beneficial for non-profits and private businesses alike! This upbeat, fun training will teach you the "nuts and bolts" behind content creation and help you find your unique voice and to find your online tribe organically. We will help you, alongside your industry peers plan a winning strategy to create online campaigns to boost your engagement and bring personalization to your pages.
Topics will include:
-appropriate use of various platforms including Constant Contact, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Canva, and many more
-Creating a content calendar to lessen workload and time that generally goes into social media
-Finding your voice as an organization or company to ensure your message are resonating with your intended audiences
-How to handle negative comments and reviews
-How small events can sensationalize product or program promotion
-How to "tell a story" about who you are and what you do
Our goal is for you to leave with an implemental plan to make your content better than ever and increase the return on your online investment.
This training will be hosted by the City of Nacogdoches. City employees who are actively engaged in posting to social media sites or disseminating information to the public as part of their job duties will be permitted to attend the event "at-cost" to cover meals and expenses.
Proceeds from the event are benefiting Nacogdoches Main Street Christmas light fund.
