The Stephen F. Austin State University College of Fine Arts and School of Music will present the Orchestra of the Pines in its first concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, in Cole Concert Hall in the Wright Music Building on the SFA campus.
Student saxophonist Josh Reyna, a senior from The Colony, is guest performer for the concert. Titled ?Festive Beginnings,? the program celebrates a record number of students performing in the Orchestra of the Pines this fall and an impressive enrollment in the School of Music, according to Gene Moon, director of orchestras at SFA.
